As today was International Day against drug abuse,  several programs were arranged by School Innova to create an inhibition towards the usage of substance among the adolescents.





TEACHING PRACTISE PHASE 2 : WEEK 2

Today I reach to the school at 9:40 a.m. and marked by attendance. Today I made students to do various extra problems which were asked in previous years. All of them were attentive and completed the problems.  Sreeja miss of Malayalam department told  to prepare for the upcoming drug awareness program.

#Day 6 - Teaching Practise Second Phase 😇😊👩‍🏫

I arrived at 9:30am and marked my attendance. During the sixty hour, I took class on the topic 'Properties of Parallelogram'.We also prepared for National Reading Day with enthusiasm. Our practise sessions focused on visualizing the famous poem Chandalabhikshuki by Kumaranasan. Additionally, Mehna, Fathima and I prepared speeches for the students to present, guiding them through practise sessions and making necessary corrections. 
The final rehearsal of the drama was impressive and we made the necessary arrangements for a successful event.Amal and Vishnupriya showed great potential with their compere practise, showcasing their talent and confidence. 
As the day came to a close, the class dispersed at 4pm, leaving me feeling fulfilled and proud of students' dedication. 








TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 2: WEEK 1

Today marked the beginning of my second phase of teaching practice at TDHSS Alappuzha. I was excited to start my journey with Class 8 students. The day began with a formal signing ceremony in the morning, where I officially commenced my teaching practice.


As I entered the classroom, I was greeted with eager faces, ready to learn. I began teaching the first chapter of Mathematics, focusing on Equal Triangles. The students showed great enthusiasm and interest in the topic. I used various teaching aids and methods to explain the concepts, ensuring that they understood the material thoroughly.


The class was interactive, with students participating actively and asking questions. I was pleased to see them grasping the concepts quickly. The session went smoothly, and I was able to cover the planned content.


Overall, it was a great start to my teaching practice, and I look forward to continuing my journey with Class 8. I am excited to see my students grow and learn in the coming days.




#Day 5 - Teaching Practise Second Phase😍🤩

I reached school at 9:30 a.m. and begin the day by marking attendance. However, with a lower turnout of students than expected I had to adjust my plans and forego the lesson I had prepared. Instead I used the opportunity to revise earlier material with the students.

The highlight of the day was the SPC orientation orientation class conducted for secondary school students. Mr Thomson, the District Police Officer, led the session delving into the history of SPC and shedding light on the latest cyber attacks and prevention strategies. Sreeja miss from the Malayalam department expertly coordinated the program and our headmaster concluded the session.Students from Carmel Higher Secondary School and Lajanathul Muhammadiya School also joined us, making it a fruitful and interactive experience. Class dispersed at 4pm.

#Day 4 Educational Strike 😐

Today I reached the school at 9:30 a.m. and marked the attendance. I have taken my class during 2nd period. Also we were tasked it with leading the reading day programs and we gathered to discuss the various events. However due to the ongoing  educational strike, we were forced to cut the day short.

#Day 3 Teaching Practise Second Phase🥰📚👨‍🏫👩‍🏫


Today was a fulfilling day! The morning assembly set a positive tone. The Rabies Awareness Program was informative and engaging, with a pledge to spread awareness. Our principal's visit was a pleasant surprise, and their encouraging words boosted our confidence. Teaching my third-period class was a delight, and I enjoyed covering "Two sides and an Angle" with my students. Mid-day meal duty was a great way to connect with students outside the classroom. I prepared lesson plans for upcoming classes, feeling organized and motivated. As the day concluded at 4 pm, I reflected on the joy of teaching and the opportunity to make a difference in young minds.


#Day 2- Teaching Practise Second Phase📚👨‍🏫👩‍🏫

Today, I implemented my second and third lesson plans, continuing to build on the previous day’s concepts. The students were more engaged and interactive. We also conducted an Environment Day rally, displaying posters that the students and I created, blending creativity with environmental awareness. I helped serve midday meals, fostering better teacher-student relationships outside the classroom. Additionally, some students participated in the SPC (Student Police Cadet) selection exam, displaying their enthusiasm and dedication. Reflecting on Day 2, the combination of structured lessons, creative activities, and extracurricular support contributed to a holistic educational experience, reinforcing my passion for teaching.
