TEACHING PRACTICE-PHASE 1- WEEK 7

Today I reached the school by 9:20 AM and marked my attendance. I had my first hour during the second period.Since most of the teachers were absent due to Kalotsav and other causes, we had substitution duties. Due to illness. Thahliya left school by 11:00 AM today. I took the concept a new number and few problems based on previous day’s concept diameter and perimeter.Then, after having lunch during the fifth period, I took a problem lesson since the Thahliya gave me that hour to take class.

TEACHING PRACTICE-PHASE 1- WEEK 6

Today I reached the school by 9:30 AM and marked the attendance. I conducted a mid term examination during the second hour which was free. By 10:15 AM Jaya Miss came to our school to sign our lesson plans, since we were in short of signed lesson plans based on which we need to take the class .During the second hour, I dictated the questions which were from the chapters parallel lines and similar triangles.I collected the answer sheets and gave it to Sheeba Miss for evaluation. At 12:55 PM. I went to serve the midday meals which consisted of rice, sambar and beans Curry. Then I did my record work. Later during the seventh period I took my class. The class was really chaotic that the students were lacking concentration since it was the 2nd last hour. At 4:00 PM I left the school.

TEACHING PRACTICE-PHASE 1- WEEK 5

Today, I reached the school by 9:30 AM. I got an extra hour the second period. During that hour, I instructed the students to study for the next day's midterm exam.Simultaneously, I checked the answer sheets of DT.After that I did my record work. Later during the 6th hour, I took remedial lessons. Based on the DT. I was able to identify a few questions which many of them got mistaken. Also the students were informed of their test marks.We left the school by 4:00 PM.

TEACHING PRACTICE-PHASE 1- WEEK 4

Today I reached the school by 9:30 AM and marked the attendance. I got the first period to prepare for the second period but unfortunately due to educational strike, classes were dismissed but we remained in the school.Social science teacher Sachin Sir asked us to prepare a chart on.Gyrometer and accelerometer for their seismograph model which was to be displayed for the next day’s social science fair.Also, he talked with us about the job opportunities of teachers.After a while, HM gave us permission to leave from the school. Then after having lunch we left the school at 2:15 PM.
