TEACHING PRACTICE-PHASE 1- WEEK 3

Today was our ninth day of our teaching practice. I reached the school by 9:25 AM. Since Thahliya was absent, the attendance register was with her .so we did not signed our attendance. Since today there was a private bus strike most of the students were absent.The day began with a prayer. I took class during the second hour.

Getting back to Class after the Festive Mood|| 📚🖍#Day 6 Teaching Practise

All the students were back in their regular classes.We had taken our classes according to our usual schedules.Today Maths Quiz was conducted under the guidance of Sheeba miss and Maya miss as well as certificates were distributed to the winners.Along with that some of us went to monitor the Science Quiz too.

Mid-day meal distribution was done as usual. Triangle Division was the topic that I taught today via ICT.

Wrapping Up the Festive ||School Kalotsav || #Day5 Teaching Practice 😊📚💫

Thus we have arrived at the end of the School Kalotsav 2023-24 of TDHSS Alappuzha. Today the event was conducted at various classrooms of the school itself. All the students were told to wear uniform.The event began at 10am consisting of multifarious cultural and literary items including Arabic song, Mappilappattu, Recitation, Nadanppattu,Group Song,Patriotic song and so on. A snack stall was arranged where students were supplied with popcorn which was made in the school kitchen itself. Moreover,we distributed the mid-day meal consisting of Rice and Sambar.Some of our classmates got a chance to judge certain competitions too.Around 3:15pm ,all the competitions came to an end and students left to their homes. 

The Festival Begins!! School Kalotsav || #Day4 Teaching Practice 💫🤗🥰

Once Ralph Waldo Emerson said,"Every artist was first an amateur".Kalotsav is an event where children are able to show off their talents.School kalotsav 2023-24 of TDHSS Alappuzha was inaugurated by the respected Dr.B Padmakumar,Professor of Medicine, TDMC Alappuzha,who was the alumni of this school.The event was conducted at the nearby Nandavanam Auditorium.During the inaugural ceremony, Nirmala,elder individual who works as cook and Vijayan,the guard , at the school was honored as a part of Senior Citizen Week.Later,multifarious stage events were conducted like Kuchipudi,Bharathanatyam,Nadodinritham,Ganalapanam,Sanskrit Elocution,Dufmutt and Group Dance.

For the school students as well as teachers, a snack stall was installed in the auditorium.Around 4:30pm, the programme ended. 

TEACHING PRACTICE - PHASE 1-WEEK 2

Today was the youth festival day which was being conducted at the nearby auditorium Nandavanam. We marked the attendance and moved to the auditorium. Sheeba miss showed me the way to the auditorium which was filled with the students. The youth festival was entitled ‘DHWANI’ 2023. The inaugural ceremony ceremony began with a prayer and then the audience was welcomed by the respected head mistress Smt Sreeja. The presidential address was given by the PTA President Sri Ajesh.The event was inaugurated by Dr. Padma Kumar, who shared his old memories as a proud alumni and they sang a song during his speech. Also, Anakha Praveen was congratulated during the ceremony for district powerlifting gold winner. The event was felicitated by Smt. Suma Miss and Smt Preetha. Warm note of gratitude was given by Smt. Lalitha as it was the first day of the youth festival. Many stage items like Bharathanatyam, Kuchipudi, folk dance, musical instruments, Thiruvathira ,Oppana, Duffmutt, Arabic song.We were given duty in the records section. Snacks outlet was established where Chilli Bajji, banana fry and others were sold..

Last Day of First Week!!! #Day3😃💫

Today was the third day of our teaching practice.Thus, one week of the first phase is over.Today we were involved in several activities like invigilating IT Quiz , arranging Exhibition in connection with Gandhi Jayanti and teaching sessions.An interesting radio programme was conducted by the students in which an interview with the new Headmistress, Sreeja Teacher ,was taken in Hindi Language.

Today was our 2nd day of teaching practice.It's a time to recall our school memories too. 😄

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1- WEEK 1

Today was the first day of our teaching practice.I reached the school at 9:20 am and we altogether marked the attendance.While marking the attendance,principal wished us luckand told us that she has arranged a well ventilated classroom for us. As it was wednesday a school assembly was conducted.The assembly started with prayer and then pledge, news reading.Speech on air pollution was also conducted in order.Social Service week was announced by the principal as a part of Gandhi Jayanthi.Along with that, two elderly individual workers in the school, namely Sri Vijay and Srimathi Nirmala were honored as a part of World Elders Day. Moreover, the principal reminded the students about the discipline.And also we were welcomed as the new guest of the school. The assembly was concluded by the national Anthem.After assembly we visited our teacher in charge Maya Miss .Sheeba miss was on duty of equivalence exam and so I took the signature of Maya miss in my lesson plan since I had my session on 5th period on prior.So that I prepared for it as well as did some written works.After lunch I took class according to my first Lesson plan. Later the teacher told us to monitor a few classes since they went for staff meeting at the same time. Student police cadets (SPC) were on a cleanliness drive. At 4:15.PM we left the school.

Beginning of Our Teaching Practice 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫💫#Day1

Teaching Practice of third semester had started today.We,12 student teachers, were allotted to TDHSS Alappuzha. First day was really a worthy experience for all of us.
